2. The cookies we set

• cookie_consent - remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. Always set (it's what makes the banner not reappear on every page). Retained 180 days.
• _ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics 4 cookies that distinguish visitors and sessions to measure site usage. Set only if you accept. Retained up to 13 months, per Google's defaults.

3. Your choice, and how to change it

When you first visit, a banner asks you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Nothing beyond the essential cookie_consent cookie is set until you accept. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner. Declining, or later withdrawing consent, stops Google Analytics from loading on your next page view.

4. Google Analytics and Consent Mode

We use Google's Consent Mode, which keeps analytics signals denied by default and only grants them once you accept. Google may process the resulting data as described in its own privacy policy. We have not enabled Google Ads or remarketing features on this property.

5. Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings, independently of the choice you make in our banner. Blocking the essential cookie_consent cookie means the banner may reappear on later visits.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date.
